Wedding Planning Services

I believe in keeping things simple, so I have two primary service offerings – Full Service and Event Management. Not sure which offering is right for you? Contact me and let’s discuss your needs and ideas. It is important to me that we are a good match for each other, so your initial consultation is always complimentary!

Full service planning is for the couple who would like assistance and guidance throughout the entire planning process, or who couldn’t be bothered with wedding planning at all! Whether you’re busy with life and work, planning from another state or country, or would just love to have a professional leading the way, this package is for you.

The full service relationship begins with an assessment of wedding priorities and vision, followed by an in depth budgeting exercise to align expectations. From there I will put together a detailed planning timeline so everyone is on the same page throughout the process, and we will work together every step of the way to achieve your dream wedding. Full service planning is inclusive of the Event Management package.

While I am open to all couples and their varied budgets, Ellen Thomas Events couples typically invest anywhere from $75,000 to $100,000+ on their big day. Through our budgeting exercise we will determine what is realistic given your anticipated guest count and vision for the day.

Looking for “Day of” or “Month of” Coordinating? This is the offering for you. I call it “Event Management” because “Day of” Coordinating doesn’t really exist. Sure, I could show up on the day of your wedding having never talked to you and you would still be in better shape than someone without a coordinator, but it’s probably best that we get started a bit earlier than that, don’t you think?

Event Management begins the day you book the package and kicks into high gear 4-6 weeks prior to your big day making sure all the loose ends are tied up, vendors are on the same page, and the wedding day runs perfectly from beginning to end without you or your family having to lift a finger. Ask any vendor or past bride, having a professional run the show day of is worth every penny!

Please note that I accept limited Event Management bookings per year and prior to booking I require all potential Event Management couples to send a list of their booked vendors for me to review. All vendors must be licensed, insured, and have past wedding experience. As a general practice, I do not book this service until we are within 6 months of the wedding date, but there are exceptions to every rule!

After much experimentation, I no longer offer “partial planning.” Even if you have already booked a venue or a couple of vendors, I will be working closely with the entire vendor team, and with you, throughout the planning process.

That being said, I do offer several add-on options to further enhance your Full Service or Event Management booking:

    • Full Wedding Weekend Planning (includes rehearsal dinner, welcome party, Sunday brunch, etc.)
    • Invitation and RSVP Management
    • Budget Development (Included in Full Service)
    • Planning Timeline (Included in Full Service)
    • Additional Consultation Hours

Contact me to discuss if any of these add-ons are right for you!

Looking to elope or looking to host a smaller scale, more intimate event? Even though there may be fewer vendors to hire and the logistics may be less complex, you should still be able to relax and enjoy your planning process and wedding day. That’s where I come in. Ask me about modified pricing for either Event Management or Full Service Planning and let’s get started putting together the perfect celebration for you and your partner.
